In this special session of the Adult Sunday School, Lennox Iton (HUMC lay member to Annual Conference) will report on the outcomes of the 2020 General Conference of the United Methodist Church (held in April-May, 2024), and the 2024 Annual Conference of the Northern Illinois Annual Conference (held in June). The major decisions that were made at these gatherings will be presented in context, and their implications for the future of HUMC and the denomination will be discussed. Everyone is invited to participate!
