Belford Hernandez is a highly accomplished musician who excels as a director, arranger, and composer, possessing a diverse history of collaboration with vocalists, choral groups, and instrumentalists. His exceptional talent has been showcased as a featured artist in numerous piano recitals spanning various countries, including Venezuela, Colombia, Jamaica, Ecuador, Canada, and the United States.

In addition to his solo performances, Belford has lent his skills as a piano collaborator to professional choirs and instrumental ensembles. His ability to accompany and support these groups underscores his adaptability and profound understanding of diverse musical environments.

Belford's educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the Adventist University of Colombia. He furthered his academic pursuits by pursuing a Master's degree in Choral Music Education at the VanderCook School of Music in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, he is in the final stages of completing his Doctoral degree at Concordia University in Chicago.

In the present, Belford holds several influential roles within the music community. He serves as a Music Faculty member and Choir Director at Joliet Central High and fulfills the role of Choir Director at Benedictine University in Illinois. Moreover, he serves as the Music Director at Cantores Community Choir, an ensemble that places emphasis on community involvement and musical excellence. Belford also takes on the role of Music Director at Hinsdale United Methodist Church in Illinois, where he oversees the church's musical endeavors and directs their musical groups.

With his wealth of experience and strong educational foundation, Belford has made substantial contributions to the musical community. He continues to motivate and mentor musicians and performers, leaving an enduring impact under his guidance.
