At Hinsdale United Methodist Church, we believe that music is an important part in helping our congregation grow in their faith together and, through worship, giving God glory. Using well-written and expressive church music, we can help strengthen our faith in God and touch people’s hearts. We are blessed and thankful to have faithful, talented musicians who create a diverse group that serves in the music ministry.
chancel choir
Our Chancel Choir is open to all singers from high school and above. There is no audition required. This unique group is bound together through its love of Christ and the joy of making great choral music during our Sunday worship services during the school year. New singers are always welcome! To sing with the Chancel Choir, simply attend the rehearsals. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Our Handbell Choir is a very unique musical group that rings wonderful music. If you read music and wish to be part of this musical group, please contact Belford to set up an appointment for a simple audition. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
MUSICIANS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS
If you play a musical instrumental and you would like to participate in one of the worship services as a soloist or as a part of an ensemble, please let us know. We will be happy to support your musical talent. We know that you will be an inspiration to others!
