Sunday, February 21 through Sunday, March 28
Our Lenten Study will begin on February 21, using the book Entering the Passion of Jesus by Amy-Jill Levine. We started this study a year ago when the pandemic transformed our church and our study. We will begin once again, looking at the history and literature surrounding the last days of Jesus' life. Levine sets the narrative in historical context and analyzes the risks and motives of the story’s characters. Let us walk together as we learn about the heart of the Christian experience—the story of Jesus' Passion.
Based on the recent survey results, we plan to have in-person worship in the Sanctuary on Palm Sunday, March 28. The current reopening plan will include one service at 10:00 a.m. with limited capacity. We will use an online reservation system that will be available beginning Tuesday, March 23. For those without online access, phone assistance will be available. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. The online worship service will continue and the easy access will be exactly the same. For the time being, Children’s Programs and Adult Education will continue online. Please watch for more details in the enews and on our website.
