Join us on Sunday, October 2, 2016 as HUMC hosts the CROP Hunger Walk to help stamp out hunger worldwide. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. and Step Off is at 1:30 p.m. right here at Hinsdale UMC at 945 S. Garfield in Hinsale.
You can participate in the CROP Hunger Walk by:
- Walking the 3 mile route or the 1 mile route (for those with young children or pets)
- Supporting a Walker with a generous donation
- Praying for the CROP Hunger Walk and for the poor and hungry

CROP Hunger Walks are community fundraising events sponsored by Church World Service (CWS), an international relief, development, and refugee resettlement agency. Money raised by CROP Hunger Walks nationwide is used by CWS to provide food, medical care, disaster relief, and selfhelp development for needy people around the world. HCS Family Services will receive 25% of the funds raised from this event.
