This year's VBS will combine Downers Grove UMC and Hinsdale UMC to create a wonderful VBS experience for everyone! The theme is "Just Like Me" and will explore digging in and growing Deep with God. Registration for VBS is now open!

Our Children’s Ministry is a fun, safe, age-appropriate worship and learning experience for every child, from preschool to 6th grade. Our focus is to nurture children in the love and grace demonstrated by Jesus’ love for everyone. We want your child’s experience to be fun, inspiring, and to help them grow in their knowledge and understanding of life that is focused on Jesus’ love!

Please register your child for our Children Ministry program by completing the registration form through the button below and then return it to Leah Ostwald, Director of Family Ministries, via email or in the church office.
Children’s Church
During Children’s Church we invite age appropriate discovery in a comfortable environment that teaches kids the life and lessons of Jesus found in the Bible. Celebrate Wonder is the curriculum taught on Sundays.
Vacation Bible School
One of our most anticipated programs for children is our Vacation Bible School that occurs in July. VBS is a fun-filled week of learning, singing, adventures, and learning about Jesus in fun and creative ways!
Special Programs
Throughout the year we have special programs and activities to nurture children’s growth, such as our Annual Christmas Musical, mission and ministry projects, Easter Egg Hunt, and more!
Baptism
Recognizing the grace of God living in each new-born baby, we celebrate infant and child baptism. We’re here to help guide you through faith milestones for your children.
Safe Environment
We are committed to providing a caring and secure environment for children and youth. Our leaders and volunteers have taken background checks and our program follows the requirements set forth in our Safe Sanctuary Policy.
