Our annual United Methodist Women Sunday celebration is planned for Sunday, February 10. Both the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services will be conducted by our UMW unit members. Our guest preacher will be Rev. Joy Starwalt, Vicki Greene’s sister.
At the 9:30 a.m. Education hour, Sharrann Simmons will lead a discussion on the history of the United Methodist Women and their work toward Women’s Suffrage. The United Methodist Women is celebrating its 150th Anniversary and Women Suffrage, its 100th year. We’ve come a long way but there’s still much work to be done. Hear what Sharrann says about the history and how it leads us to the future.
An all-church potluck luncheon will follow the 10:30 a.m. service. All are welcome to the luncheon. Hope to see you there!
